Patricia Joan (Patsy) Haraway Richter, 74, of Louisville, died Monday, January 4, 2016 at Norton Brownsboro Road Hospital. She was a native of W. Carthage, New York and a member of Elizabethtown Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Rineyville High School and was retired from Walmart after 18 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Luther and Mary Lee King Haraway, a brother, Gerald D. Haraway and a sister in law, Margaret Ann Haraway. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Joe Richter of Louisville, one son, Gary R. Fry of Louisville, one daughter Rhonda (Fred) Benavidez of Louisville, two sisters, Barbara Underwood of Elizabethtown and Gayle Massey of Nashville, TN, one grandchild, Sophia Benavidez of Louisville and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. John Board officiating. Burial will be in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
