Norman Lee Hollan

Norman Lee Hollan 76 of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong resident of Hardin County and was a graduate of Elizabethtown High School. He graduated from Lindsey Wilson College and attended Western Kentucky University until he was called to served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Norman was a 40 year member of the Sportsman Club and retired after 30+ years from Gates Rubber Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd K. and Mable Hollan He is survived by two children, Richard Harris of Elizabethtown and Chris Brooks of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandchildren, Clayton and Tyler Brooks; a sister, Margaret Jewel; his caregiver, Elaine Hollan of Bowling Green; a special family member, Hope Lee; cousins, Bob Hollan of FL and Harriet Kanbruw of NC and his adopted family, Paul and Mildred Hartlage and their family. A special thanks to Bubs Cafe for their kindness during his illness. A Graveside service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
