Rosie Mae Payton, 91 of Glendale, died Sunday, November 15, 2015. She was a native of Hardin County, a member of Victory Life Fellowship in Glendale and retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennie Payton; a son, Gary Wayne Payton; a brother, Maxie Huffman and two sisters, Louise Huffman and Mable Hensley. She is survived by one son, Gerald (Lillie) Payton of Glendale; one sister, Mary Alice Payton of Glendale; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth "Libby" Huffman of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Shannon) Bowdoin of Liberty, TX and Stephen (Falenia) Payton and Desiree (Michael) Bell all of Glendale; six great grandchildren, Shelby, Rachael, Tiffany, Emily, Seth and Samuel. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Austin officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
