Betty Lou Joy, 79 of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Helmwood Health Care Center. She was a native of Grayson County and a member of First Presbyterian Church. She retired from Ft. Knox Civil Service with over 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Dewey Cain and Sally Klinglesmith Cain; one sister, Gloria Kathryn Ray and a brother, Herman Dewey Cain, Jr. She is survived by two sons, Terry (Denise) Joy of Elizabethtown and Gary (Carrie) Joy of Louisville; one daughter, Melissa Joy of Elizabethtown; one sister, Jean Cain Warf of Indianapolis, IN and eight grandchildren, Shelby, Morgan, Kelsey, Katie, William, Jessica, Jason and Haley. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Skip Dunford officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
