Wanda Joyce Epperson

Wanda Joyce Epperson, lovingly known as "Toots", of Elizabethtown, entered into eternal life on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at her home. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of Tunnel Hill Baptist Church. She retired from Ft. Knox Civil Service after 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Creswell Epperson, Sr.; two step sons, David C. Epperson and Ira Epperson, Jr.; a step daughter, Phyllis Hahn; her parents, John Will and Ruby Owens Peck and four brothers, Henry Peck, Johnnie Peck, Clifford Peck and Fred Peck. She is survived by two daughters, Audrey Ortiz of Elizabethtown and Pamela French of Key West, FL; one step son, Dayton C. (Dee Dee) Epperson, Sr. of Louisville; one sister, June Evans of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, Kelley French of Elizabethtown and Michael Ortiz of Dallas, TX; one great grandson, Bubba (Brittani) Burrow of Charlestown, WV; one great granddaughter, Alex Altmann of Elizabethtown and four close family friends, Jerry R. Taylor and Susie Campbell of Elizabethtown, Barry Moody of Radcliff and Tracy Evans. A Memorial Service will be Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Looten officiating.
