Ronald Alvin Hunter

Ronald Alvin Hunter, 68 of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center at Norton Hospital in Louisville. Our Heavenly Father reached down and took him home to be with Him after his battle with cancer. He was a native of Wheeling, WV. and one of a triplet. He was in the Navy Seabee, with one tour on the USS PEBBLE in the Gulf of Tonkin, and three tours in Vietnam. He was a very proud disabled veteran, proud to say he served his country. He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur M. and Martha J Thomas Hunter, 7 brothers; Robert and Richard Hunter (his triplet brothers), James, Thomas, John A., George William (Bill) and Charles Hunter, 4 sisters; Dorothy Starr, Mary Elder, Dana Alvery, and Sandra Edwards. He is survived by three sons, Bryan (Sherry) Hunter of Jacksonville, FL, Chad Hunter of Seattle, WA and Steven (Kathy) Hunter of NC., 1 brother; Harry J (Sue) Hunter; 3 sisters; Martha Sally (Jessie) Dale, Patricia (Wade) Pettigrew, and Donna J. (Frank) Wise, is a twin sister to Dana Alvey, granddaughters; Amanda Kay Hunter, Meghan Marie Hunter, Haley Hunter, grandson; Wesley Hunter, great grandson; Gage Hunter, great granddaughter; Ciara Hunter and too many nieces and nephews to mention. Cremation was chosen . A service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff in the pavilion with Pastor Kevin Roberts officiating.
