Jessie Marion Ashlock, 89 of Cecilia, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at his home. He was a native of Hardin County and a member of Grandview Baptist Church. He retired from Post Engineers at Fort Knox. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Lee Richardson Ashlock; two sons, Raymond Ashlock and Lonnie Ashlock; his parents, Joe Marion and Eva Miles Ashlock; two brothers, John Ashlock and Ira Ashlock and two sisters, Virlie Ashlock and Pearlie Ashlock. He is survived by a special friend, Eleanor McAtee of Cecilia; four sons, Jessie Lee (June) Ashlock of Sonora, Donnie (Brenda) Ashlock of Glendale, Ronnie Ashlock of White Mills and Timmy Ashlock of Leitchfield; one daughter, Lois Louise (Bill) Klinglesmith of Leitchfield; one sister, Ruby Lyons of Elizabethtown; 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Sonora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
