Norman Francis Crawford

Norman Francis Crawford, 73, died Thursday, September 3, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1941 in Colesburg, Ky. He served in the U.S. Army at Ft. Sill Oklahoma from 1963 to 1965. He is retired from Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Ky. after 44 years. He was preceded in death by a son, Norman Francis Crawford Jr., his parents James Collie Crawford, Sr. and Dorothy Marie Brown, and 1 brother: David E. Crawford. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, LaVerne Blakey Crawford, a son, Eddie (Dianna Jo) Crawford and 2 sisters: Bonnie Errico and Anna (Mickey) Lara, 4 brothers; John (Janice) Crawford, Larry (Mary Lou) Crawford, Stanley Wayne Crawford, all of Elizabethtown, and James (Jane) Crawford of Boston, 3 grandsons: Collie Crawford, a student at UL, Reilly Crawford and Brady Crawford, all of Elizabethtown, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral is at 11:00 am Monday at St. James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown with Rev. Chuck Walker officiating. Burial follows at St. James Cemetery Visitation is from 3:00-8:00 pm Sunday and after 9:00 am Monday at Brown Funeral Home. Prayer vigil service is Sunday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
