Elizabeth Cox Smith, 90, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, August 10, 2015 at Helmwood Healthcare. She was a native of Henry Co, a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, and worked at the family business, The Treasure Chest. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Smith; parents, Vernon and Clara Cox; sister, Dorothy Oney; and brother Vaiden Cox. She is survived by her two sons, H. Wayne (Eloise) Smith of Glasgow, Bradley (Rhonda) Smith of Louisville; two brothers, Charles E. Cox, James A. Cox; sister Laverne Howard of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. The Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Gibbons officiating. Burial will follow at Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and continue after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
