Fred A. (Freddie) Grimes, 72, of Glendale, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at his residence. He was a native of Hardin Co. and a retired Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Dewey and Katherine Wirth Grimes; five brothers, George Franklin, James, William, Paul, and Larry Grimes. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mavie Jean Baker Grimes of Elizabethtown; four children, Sandra Darlene and Cecil Bailey of Eastview, Mitchelle and Charlotte Grimes of Hodgenville, Mark Eugene Grimes of Elizabethtown, Karen Walker and Tim Dempster of Elizabethtown; 13 grandchildren, Rachel and Chris Hart, Jessica and Jeremy Bolin, Kayla and Vince Booken, Tiffany and Derrick Hill, Carrie and Adam Underwood, Andrai Warner and Edward Guerrero, Courtney Warner, A.J. Cambron, John, Harlee, Christina, Abby, and Winston Grimes; 6 great-grandsons, Lucas and Colin Hart, Jarrett Bolin, Chase Hill, Gibson and Briar Underwood.
