Linda Lou Day

Linda Lou Day, 72, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at her residence. She was a native of Lewis, Kansas, a TPA Member, a member of the VFW Womens Auxillary, and a volunteer at the HMH Cancer Center. Linda was honored to be named Mary Kays monthly "Miss Go-Give" 2 times during her career as a Mary Kay Sales Director. She loved the life that it allowed her to live for 37 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Joseph Day; parents, Ora and Hattie Mae Clawson; brother, Larry Clawson; and sister, Judy Naylor. She is survived by her son, Dusty (Annette) Day of Flintville, Tn; daughter, DeDee (Ed) Evans of New Carlisle, OH; and four grandchildren, Justin (Taylor) Evans, Austin Evans, Dustin Day, and Brandi Day. The Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Kennedy and Bro. Tim Underhill officiating. Burial will follow at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. and continue on Wednesday after 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Mary Kay Foundation.
