Nadine Sullivan, 93, of Elizabethtown, died Monday July 1, 2013 at her residence. She was a native of Upton. Nadine enjoyed working many years at Glendale Baptist Childrens' Home. She was a faithful member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Sullivan; parents, H. P. and Zilpah Thurman Ray; and a sister, Maydelle Sharpe. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Loy) Brashear of Elizabethtown; son, John (Karen) Sullivan of Shepherdsville; three grandchildren, Valerie (Craig) Colgate, Neal (Heather) Brashear and Ricky (Sherry) Brashear; and eight great-grandchildren, Austin, Sam, Carly, Chris, Jacob, and Haley Brashear; Natalie Colgate and Christina Hoover. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Upton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Hosparus.
