Richard Wagonner Hart

Richard Wagonner Hart, 82, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Signature Health Care of Spencer County. He was a native of Hardin County, former owner of Pan Am Drive In and the Elizabethtown Dairy Queen; a member of the Christ Episcopal Church; Lions Club past President, and an original commission member of the Elizabethtown Tourism and Convention Bureau. He was preceded in death by parents, Letty Watts Hart and Silas C. Hart, Sr.; and a brother, Silas Clinton Hart, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Reva Hart; a daughter, Lorraine Hart of Littleton, CO; four sons, Silas C. (Ann Dora) Hart of Versailles, John (Theresa) Hart of Lexington, Richard (Elizabeth) Hart of Richmond, VA, and Steven (Melissa) Hart of Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Christ Episcopal Church with Revs. Ellen Morell and Linda Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to Christ Episcopal Church; Sanders-Brown Center on aging, 1030 S.
