Noble Perry, Jr, 97, of Elizabethtown, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at his residence. Noble was an Army veteran of WWII, sold insurance, was a bookkeeper and car salesman. He retired from the U.S. Post Office after 20 years. Noble was a member of First Christian Church and Men for Christ. He was a mason at Morrison Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Martin; his parents, Noble Perry Sr and Maggie Love; his son, Bryant Perry; and a son-in-law, Ted Zaehringer. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn (Joseph) Boone of Louisville and Darleen Zaehringer of Elizabethtown; his loving dear, Mary Brown of Elizabethtown; 14 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. The funeral is Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Kiger officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and continues after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
