Peggy Jane Bush Lyon, age 86 of Elizabethtown, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Lyon; parents, Ray and Eunice Puckett Bush; a sister, Sarah Carol Bush; and two nephews, Evan VanMeter and Joe Vick. Survivors include her sister, Sandra (Bobby) Vick of Glendale; newphews and niece, Paul (Doris) Van Meter of Jacksonville, FL, Wayne (Kelly) Vick and Stephanie (Charles) Ferguson, all of Elizabethtown; and great nieces and nephews, Chris (Contessa) Vick, Taylor (Alex) Vick Thompson, Michael (Porchia Gaspard) Vick, Carter Ferguson, Trent (Halle Hess) Ferguson, and Chaz Ferguson; and one great great newphew, Anderson Vick. She was Godparent to Dr. Arjun Nanda and Sonya Nanda. The funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Kiger officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
