Carolyn Johnson Clark

Carolyn Johnson Clark, entered this world on January 20, 1958, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and departed to her heavenly home on July 22, 2022, from her home in Elizabethtown. Carolyn retired as Payroll Specialist from Hardin Memorial Hospital in October 2019, having spent her 44 year career there. Carolyn was loved by all because of her infectious personality, beautiful smile, and her kindness and generosity to any human or animal in need. She never wanted any recognition for her countless acts of kindness and generous donations. Carolyn was also admired for her unwavering strength and unmatched work ethic. Carolyn was devoted to, and dearly loved her family, leaving them with cherished memories of family gatherings, beach trips and long summer weekends at Green River Lake. Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Paul (she was Daddy's girl) and Josephine Dohoney Johnson, and her brother, Clarence Campbell, Jr. Carolyn (Mimi) leaves to forever cherish her memory and legacy, her husband, James (Jimmy) Clark, daughters, Angie (Billy) Cann, Jamie (Jim) Owen, her grandchildren, Ashlyn and Brooklyn Cann, Harrison and Kinleigh Owen, and her sister, Bonnie (Jim) Young. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 pm on Thursday, July 28, with the Memorial Service beginning at 5 pm at Crossroads Baptist Church, 401 W. Poplar Street in Elizabethtown. Mike Walker, Pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, will be officiating the service. Carolyn attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family requests any expressions of sympathy to honor Carolyn's memory be made to Forever Home for Paws; Nolin River Wildlife Center; Friends of Hardin County Animal Shelter; Vine Grove Refuge Center or Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
