Betty M. Flanagan (Tarter) a.k.a. Miss Betty, 78 of Elizabethtown, passed away July 22, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin surrounded by her family. She was retired from the Hardin County Detention Center after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Neal Tarter; two brothers, Ed Tarter and Roger Tarter; and a sister, Sandra Scifres. She is survived by her children, Mashell (Randy) Kuchera of Campbellsville, Johnny Radabaugh and Robert (Tony) Radabaugh, both of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Wade Tarter of Elizabethtown and Chuck(Vicki) Tarter of Missouri; two sisters, Jo (James) Francis of Waverly, OH and Judy (Phillip) Garcia of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral is Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial follows in Lambert Cemetery in Edmonson County.
