Daniel Francis Mountain, 70 of Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at his home. Born in Dexter, Maine, he was an amazing person who loved bowling, gardening, playing golf, and watching football on Sundays. Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Mountain; and his parents, James Mountain and Colena Beaton. Survivors include his two sons, Chris D. and Andrew K. Mountain; two step sons, Charles E. and David L. Williams; two step daughters, Towana Turner and Crystal J. Murphy; one brother, Dennis Mountain; 15 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, July 28th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. The funeral will be Thursday, August 11th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial at 12:30 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
