Rodney Paul Raines, 47 of Jeffersonville, IN, formerly of Elizabethtown, died Monday, February 21, 2022. He was born in Junction City, KS and formerly worked for the railroad, Rollerbearing Corp., Domino's Pizza and Insight Communications. He was a boyscout and an alter boy, loved camping and nature. He was shy, sensitive and compassionate and always willing to listen. Survivors include his mother, Kathryn (Tom) Woodruff of Jeffersonville, IN; his father, Merlin Raines of GA; his sister, Tena Marie (Sam) Gore of Cecilia; four nieces, Elizabeth Keith, Brittney Keith, Jessica Salisbury and Lee Ellen Gore; five great nieces and five great nephews. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
