Meredith Ann Spear, 32 of Magnolia, died Monday, January 24, 2022 in Edmonton. Meredith, a creative spirit and artist who loved to create all kinds of art, often turning thrown away trash into treasures. She was a lover of animals and would often come home with stray animals to add to the family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carlos and Bernice Smith and Eddie Vechel Spear. She is survived by her parents, Larry, Sr. and Patty Spear of Magnolia; her siblings, Jennifer Spear of Louisville, Larry Spear, Jr. of Elizabethtown and Sammy Spear of Upton; her paternal grandmother, Nadine Short of Hestand, KY; her cat Marco and a host of family and friends she considered family. A Memorial Service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with Rev. Ben Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 10 am to 1 pm Saturday at the church.
