Pauline "Polly" Shaw, 93 of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her home. She was a native of Larue County and a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. She went to Wendy's everyday and read her book with close friends. Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Shaw; her parents, Hansford and Katie Pearl Gibson Atherton; two brothers, Harold and James Atherton and four sisters, Velma Atcher, Jean Hutcherson, Edna Baunach and Ann Craine. Survivors include her daughter, Pam Smith of Florida; a sister, Joyce Williams; a close, dear, forever friend, Char Marker; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
