Emma Jean Tade

Emma Jean Tade, 73, of Burkesville, formerly of Elizabethtown, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at home with her family by her side. Emma Jean Tade was born on August 6, 1948 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Odell Bushong. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital and Hardin County Schools. She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Jerry Frank Tade; four children, Ricky Tade (Jennifer), Frankie Millstead (Chuck), Jerry Wayne Tade (Lesley) and LeeAnn Bolton (Jason); and a twin sister, Lorene Savage (Haskel). She leaves her eight, adoring grandchildren, Brandon Crutchfield (Ashley), Autumn Thompson (Dustin), Samantha Henderson (Josh), Emily Donovan (Zach), Ryan Tade, Ashley Haun (Bo), Kelsey Embry (Sam), and Aubrey Tade. She also leaves the light of her world, her six great-grandchildren, her little buddy, Ezra Henderson, Emma and Ella Crutchfield, and Jaxson, Ryman, and Bo Thompson. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and continue after 12 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A private burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff at a later date.
