Douglas Wayne Hayes, 63 of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at St. Matthews Care Center in Louisville. He was a native of Grayson County, a commercial driver for Auto Zone and was a loving husband and generous provider. He is survived by his wife, Stacy Carmon Hayes; two uncles, Kenny Hayse and Tommy Hayse; a brother, Michael Hayes; and several nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Larue County Church of Christ, 1136 Elizabethtown Road, Hodgenville, KY 42748. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Leitchfield, KY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society in his name.
