Robert Browden "Abe" Miller, 98 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, November 1, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was a native of New Stithton, KY and was a Kentucky Colonel. Abe has been a member of Memorial United Methodist Church since 1934 where he proudly sang in the choir. He was a charter member of the Elizabethtown Jaycees, was an avid UK fan and was a season ticket holder for football for 66 years. He retired in 1982 from Olin Chemical and was a longtime member with senior status of the Elizabethtown Country Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Jean Miller; parents, Robert Anderson Miller and Lena Watts Miller; two brothers, Joseph A. "Jody" Miller and W.W. Perry; two sisters, Lottie Mae Miller and Emily Ruth McCullum. He is survived by special nieces and nephews, Joel Miller, Ann Morris and Jane Pelski. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. John Vaught and Dr. Rachel Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin Memorial Park.
