Robert B. Gault, Jr., 80, of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at The Legacy at English Station in Louisville. He worked at Dow Corning for 33 1/3 years and was a noted car lover. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert B. Gault Sr. and Mary Evelyn Sanders. He is survived by his wife, Marie Cecil Gault of Elizabethtown; two sons, John Douglas Gault (Lynne) of Louisville, and Timothy Craig Gault of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Robin Gault Curry (Rob) of Louisville; two sisters, Jackie Dobson (John) of Wheatland, MO and Sue Ann Loebig of Louisville; and five grandchildren, Cody, Ellie, Harper, Molly, and Afton. The funeral will be Saturday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Deacon Jim Cecil officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery in Rineyville. Visitation will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of the Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter.
