Malcolm Aaron Ragland

Malcolm Aaron Ragland, 48, of White Mills, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Aaron was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to Mickey and Renee Ragland on August 23, 1973, and grew up on the familys farm in Glendale, Kentucky. Growing up on the farm, Aaron loved to spend his days outdoors hunting anything from squirrels to arrowheads, fishing or swimming in the pond, exploring the woods, and forging new ATV trails. Aarons love for the outdoors remained constant throughout his life as did his love for his family and his home. As an adult, Aaron spent his free time fishing, tinkering in the garage, riding his motorcycle, gardening, and caring for his animals. He loved to share these passions with his family and friends; just this week Aaron happily delivered his freshly ripe, home-grown watermelons to friends. Aaron attended West Hardin High School and was a member of Central Hardins first graduating class in 1991. Later that year, Aaron married LeAnn Brooks and on September 9, 1998, the couple delightfully welcomed their son, Austin Brett Ragland into the world. Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Mickey Ragland; grandmother Lucille Wright; grandfather, Boyce Wright; grandmother, Catherine Ragland; grandfather, MG Ragland; and great grandmother, Lillie Cottrell. Aaron is survived by his son, Austin Ragland; loving mother, Renee Ragland; sister, Jessica Ragland Lowe; nephew, Carter Lowe, nieces, Ella Grace and Cassi Lowe; and constant furry companions, Howie and Ellie. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 30 from 4 to 8 pm and Tuesday morning, August 31 from 9 to 11 am prior to the service scheduled at 11 am. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown by Reverend Bruce Underhill. Burial will follow at White Mills Cemetery.
