Pamela Gail Wimsatt

Pamela Gail Wimsatt, 66, of Cecilia, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. She was born in Kennett, MO on December 28, 1954 to Otis (Toby) and Mildred Norman. She worked at E-town Sportswear, Pam's Dairy Chef (owner), and Bussman's where she left to be a stay at home mom. She was a seamstress, who passionately volunteered with Youth Theatre of Hardin County for 25 years; a dedicated Cecilia Homemaker; an active member of Cecilia Baptist Church; a volunteer at G.C. Burckhead; and she was a connoisseur of cakes- known to many as the "Cake Lady". She was preceded in death by her parents. Pamela is survived by her husband of 44 years, Paul B. Wimsatt of Cecilia; two daughters, Tiffany (Jeremy) Jones of Rineyville and Caitlyn Alexander of Cecilia; her brother, Ronnie (Lynn) Norman of Lilburn, GA; her sister Terri (Chris) Diehl of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren Abby Wimsatt and Eli Alexander; several nieces and nephews whom she loved; and so many special friends. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Cecilia Baptist Church in Cecilia with Bro. Donnie Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home and continue after 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cecilia Baptist Church.
