Shirley Jean Mountain, 63 of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin. She was a native of Franklin County, NC and loved cooking, fishing, and traveling. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Catherine Strickland Williams; three brothers, Hakeen Williams, Walter Williams and Weldon Williams; two sisters, Queenie Williams, and Geraldine Williams. Survivors include her husband, Daniel F. Mountain; two sons, Charles E. Williams and David L. Williams; two daughters, Towana S. Turner and Crystal J. Murphy; two step children, Chris D. Mountain and Andrew K. Mountain; four brothers, Roger Williams, Leroy Williams, Robert Williams and Donnie Williams; three sisters, Diane Williams, her twin sister, Shirley Ann Chance and Brenda Williams; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 9 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
