Carolyn Clopton Horn, 79 of Elizabethtown, passed Monday, April 19, 2021 at Sunrise Manor. She was a native of Buffalo and graduated from Larue County High school in 1959. She went to beauty school in Louisville and came back to start her career as a beautician for the next 55 years. She worked at Upper Cut Salon for many of those years. She had a wonderful clientele that she loved working with and always had a smile on her face. She loved to travel and read. Laughter and music rang out in the house while she was present. She will be deeply missed. Carolyn was also an active member of Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Clifford Horn; one daughter, Stacy Horn of Los Angeles, Ca; one brother, George R. Clopton of Nashville, TN; one granddaughter , Michelle Hauck of Louisville and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 11am-1pm at Brown Funeral Home and a Memorial service will follow at 1pm with Rev. Landon Harting officiating.
