Peggy Ann Parks Simmons, 74 of Cecilia, died Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin. She was a native of Oneida, TN, a cosmetologist and was a volunteer with the Hardin County Historical Society and loved Genealogy. She never met a stranger, loved people and would give her last to anyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Parks, Germaine Phillips Chambers; her step father, Gentry Chambers; step sister, Regina Chambers; step brother, Adrian Chambers, and half sister, Theresa Zamesnik, She is survived by her husband of 43 years, George Simmons; one daughter, Geri Ann Simmons of Cecilia and two grandchildren, Jordan Furmon and LeBron Simmons; a half brother, Clifford Parks and one step sister, Verina Adkins and two half sisters, Jane Kutney and Kathy (Roy) Schuman. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Curle officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
