Jonathan LaMont Curry, 44 of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was a native of Hardin County, was baptized at First Baptist Church and worked for Summit Polymers. He loved his family and would do anything for them and had a funny personality that could light up a room. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Minnie B. Curry and Rodger Lee Curry and Bessie Williams and James Williams. He is survived by his parents, Glenda Curry Mitchell of Elizabethtown and Odell Williams of Upton; three sons, Dejondre Booze, Xavier Duvall Curry and Amahd Starks; special daughter, Shaylene Ross; special son, Shalijah Johnson; siblings, Charmonta Mitchell, Jashaun Curry, Angie Caldwell-Brown and Narada Voss; a special friend, Ken Phillips and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Lewis Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.
