Joseph S. Flowers, 77, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his home. He was a native of Savannah, GA, retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years and the Civil Service after another 20 years. He loved cars, hot rods, Harley's, pets, and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lana Jean Voyles Flowers; granddaughter, Teresa Rodgers Flowers; and parents, Luther Hughes and Fannie Louise Flowers. He is survived by his son, Joseph Edward Flowers of Washington State; two daughters, Pamela (Gary) Johnson of Elizabethtown and Angel Marie Flowers of Chicago; four grandchildren, Jeffrey (Katherine) Johnson, Michael (Jennifer) Johnson, Samantha (Cameron) Hobbs, and Angel Flowers; and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, January 16th, at Brown Funeral Home.
