Gerald Lee Masters

Gerald Lee Masters, 88, of Elizabethtown, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at his home. He was a native of Hardin County and a member of Tunnel Hill Baptist Church where he was Deacon Emeritus. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a body shop manager for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Lutz Masters; a sister, Wilma Irwin; and parents, Elmer and Mildred Sherrard Masters. He is survived by his son, Mark Masters and his wife, Cheryl of Lexington; three daughters, Ruth Fischer and her husband, Mark of Hope, AR, Lois Johnson and her husband, Mike of Versailles, and Mary Chaudoin and her husband, Terry of Elizabethtown; a sister, Brenda Moore and her husband, Bob of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Jeffrey Fischer, Joshua Fischer, Eric Masters and his wife, Sarah, Bethany Giles and her husband, Ethan, Sara Masters, Kristy Chaudoin and Ashley McMurtry and her husband, Greg; eight great-grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob, Ava, Katherine, and Evelyn Masters, James, Rosemary, and Luke Giles. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Tunnel Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
