James Damon Beville

James Damon Beville, 93, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was a native of Leitchfield, a member of St. James Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #1455, the American Legion Post 113 and Rolling Fork Beagle Club. Damon served in the U.S. Navy and Air Force during WWII, Korean War and the Berlin Air Lift, was a Kentucky Colonel and retired from Ft. Knox Civil Service after 27 years where he was a Management Analyst. He was a Broker for Frank Crain Real Estate and was the owner of Beville Appraisal Service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda L. Beville; two children, John Byron Beville and Mary Louise Barcenes; parents, James D. Beville, Sr. and Ambie Wells Beville; two grandchildren, Nathan Williamson and Angelina Devers; brother, Joseph C. Beville; and sisters, Nellene Jobe, Christine Pence and Sarah Ann Fowler. He is survived by his son, James Damon Beville III (Lisa) of St. Paul, KY; three daughters, Theresa Anne Beville of St. Paul, MN, Angela Marie Williamson (James) of Elizabethtown, and Carol Christine Beville of Elizabethtown; brother, Michael T. Beville (Maggie) of Elizabethtown; one sisters, Charlene Higdon of Shepherdsville; nine grandchildren, Jesse Beville, Melinda Williamson, Ashley Beville, Justin Beville, Adam Beville, Jacob Beville, Bethany Devers, Christina Devers, and Jonathan Devers; and eight great grandchildren, Mary, Alyssa, Emily, Damon, Jaden, Jace, Jackson and Ethan. The funeral will be at Monday at 11 a.m. Eastern at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield with Rev. Tony Bickett officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
