Francis M. Raine, Sr. passed from this world to his heavenly reward on December 23, 2020 after a long battle with dementia. Frank was a long-time resident of Rineyville, where he farmed the land and raised horses. He left farming to go to work at the newly opened Dow Corning plant, from which he retired in 1995 giving over 30 years of service in various departments of the plant. Frank was blessed to inherit a second family when he met June Thornberry at a Rineyville Alumni Association annual meeting in 1995. Seems he and June's first husband, Jimmy Thornberry, were classmates at Rineyville High School. They married in 1996 and started a new life together at age 70!
