Edwin Mark Allen "Mark", passed away at his home on Monday, November 2, 2020. He was a lifelong resident of Elizabethtown, KY. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, a diehard UK Wildcats fan who lived for his weekends on the lake. Mark was President of Mark Allen Transportation, loved motorcycles, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Meagan Allen from Mount Washington, one brother Sonny Allen (Brenda) from Elizabethtown, three sisters, Linda Fulkerson from Elizabethtown, Pamela Bernard (Michael) from Louisville, and Tammy Johnson (Gary) from Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Cook Allen from Elizabethtown, Carolyn Matherly from Elizabethtown, Jackie Dale Allen from Phelps, New York, Jerry Allen from Elizabethtown, and Candy Brown from Elizabethtown. Cremation has been chosen followed by a private graveside service at Upton Cemetery. A scattering of ashes will be held at Nolin Lake to be scheduled later. The family thanks everyone for all the condolences and prayers. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association.
