Frances Lavona Kidd, 98, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, November 5, 2018 at Signature Healthcare of Hart County. She was born June 24, 1920 in Hart County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Allen Kidd; son, Charles Allen Kidd, and parents, Curt and Dora Lee Hodge Johnson. She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Kidd McDaniel (Kerry) of Horse Cave and Carol Baldwin (Mike) of Elizabethtown; 13 grandchildren, Mark Thompson (Kamala), Curtis McDaniel (Tara), Dr. Thomas Baldwin (Amy), Charlie Baldwin (Katie), Julie Burd (Mike), Tammi Hutton (Lynn), Todd Kidd (Rhonda), Donna Clem (Phil), Debbie Wyatt, Merita Vandiver (Larry), Sandy Houk, Ty Dayoc (Shawn), and Melynn Mitchell (Chris); and several great grandchildren. The funeral is at 12 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with Brother Dewayne Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in Timberlake Cemetery in Hart County. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and continues after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
