Phillip Darrell Helm, Sr., 62, of Elizabethtown, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was a native of Hardin County and part owner of Helm's Exterior Stucco. He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Darrell Helm, Jr.; two brothers, Michael Dean Helm and Russell Dale Helm; and parents, Darnell and Laura Hazel Parrett Helm. He is survived by his son, Joseph Helm of Radcliff; two daughters, Meleia Thompson of Elizabethtown and Jessica Helm of Radcliff; a brother, Billy (Tammy) Helm of Elizabethtown; and five sisters, Jeanette (Dennis) Pellman, Jeanene (Bruce) Hart, and Joann (Billy) Juett all of Elizabethtown, and Janice (Walter) Brawner and Jeanell (Wayne) White all of Glendale; eleven grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jayme, Amber, Mason, Dakota, Lyllian, Adrianne, Katherine, Lauren, Tatum, and Josi; and three great grandchildren, Oaklynn, Ronin, and Evelyn. The funeral is Monday at 1 p.m. at Valley Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Kerr officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Creek Baptist Cemetery.
