Eleanor "Ellie" Cossitt, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was a native of Buffalo, New York, and retired from the U of L Hospital at the age of 80 where she was a medical technician for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; and brother, Roy (Wilma). She will be lovingly missed by her children, Barbara Cossitt, Glenn (Sandy) Cossitt, and Nicole (Jim) Bird; grandchildren, Angela (Chance), Stephen, Aaron (Kasey), Adam, Sydney (Will), Brandon, and Kyle; and great grandchildren, Avery and Cooper. A Memorial Service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hosparus.
