Arthur Harold Daugherty, 84, of Elizabethtown, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Morningview Gardens. He was a native of Hardin County, and a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. He retired from Jones IGA as a meat manager and was the owner and operator of Daugherty's Hauling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude L. and Lee Etta Smallwood Daugherty. He is survived by his wife, L. Jean Daugherty; two daughters, Patty (Joe) Bryan and Natalie (Randy) Read all of Elizabethtown; brother, Norman (Ann) Daugherty of Elizabethtown; sister, Joyce (Jerry) Money of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Amy (Shawn) Coates, Gabrielle (Matt) Read-Jasnoff, and Jordan Read; and three great grandchildren, Kalei, Kamden, and Tyler. The funeral is Thurday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
