Randal Dean Burdette

Randal Dean Burdette, 69, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, went to his eternal home on Thursday, February 8, 2018. He was a member of the Central Avenue Baptist Church and a Vietnam Veteran. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Burdette. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Burdette; two daughters, Tammy (Chad) Taylor and Angie (Chris) Worley of Princeton, West Virginia; step daughter, Jennye Gardner of Grapevine, Texas; step son, Jamie (Stacia) Gardner of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; two brothers, Billy of Elma, New York, and Jimmy of Brownsville, Kentucky; five sisters, Rita (Michael) Regan of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Diane (John) Boone of Hudson, Kentucky, Faye (Gary) Pack of Cool Ridge, West Virginia, Donna (Tom Skees) Burdette of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Rhonda (Bob) Olliges of Bloomfield, Kentucky; grandchildren, Whitney (Matt) Hurt, Dillon (Savannah) Taylor, Madeline and Marshall Worley all of Princeton, West Virginia, and Delaney Gardner of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; great grandchildren, Laken Hurt, Cole and Korie Taylor all of Princeton, West Virginia; and a special friend, Steve Bell and his daughters of Pendleton, Kentucky. The funeral is Sunday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Raymond Baptist Church Cemetery in Breckinridge County. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and continues after 12 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Central Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund.
