Louise Grimes Cox, 100, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Kensington Center. She was born on January 14, 1918 to Henry and Elizabeth Jeffries Grimes in Hardin County. She was a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church and was a store clerk at several area places. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry O. Cox and two grandchildren, Pam Reed and Brad Carden. She is survived by two children, Bobby O. "Martha" Cox and Betty "Bill" Carden all of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Jeff Carden of Taylorsville, Robert Cox of Mt. Washington and Laura Green of Glendale and 7 great grandchildren. The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. J. D. Shipp officiating.
