Mary Vivian Walden, 85, of Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her home. She was a member of Gilead Baptist Church for 43 years and taught school for 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ella Prichard Elliott. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Walden; two daughters, Elannette Baker (Donnie) and Stephanie Mackey (David) all of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren, Robby Ash, Clarissa Mackey, Sawyer Mackey, and Alexandra Mackey; and two step grandchildren, Kali Buchanan and Brandt Evan Baker. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Steven Hadden, Dan Durham, and Sam Hinkson officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Christian Cemetery.
