Jackie Wayne Johnson

Jackie Wayne Johnson, 72, of Eastview, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Tyler, Texas, a member of Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church, and a heavy equipment operator. He was a Veteran in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War, and was a member of Meeting Creek Masonic Lodge #641. He was preceded in death by his mother, Florine Scott Johnson and father, Sherman Johnson; twin brother, Bobby Johnson; and granddaughter, Andriea. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara Sadler Johnson; three sons, Curtis (Nikki) Goodman of Glasgow, Scott (Anita) Goodman of Elizabethtown, and Timmy (Amanda) Johnson of Indiana; two daughters, Leah Murnahan and Renee Phillips of Indiana; one brother, Junie (Diana) Johnson of Eastview; one sister-in-law, Violet Johnson of Eastview; 17 grandchildren, Koty (Sonny Boy Johnson), Ali (Aaron), Presley, Layne (Yoder), Jacqueline, Matthew, Chantel, Logan, Ashley, Zach, Evelyn, Kylie, Kayden, Hannah, Holley, Craig, and Katlyn; one great grandchild, Skyla; and his beloved pet, CoCo. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Felker and Rev. John R. Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Rough Creek Baptist Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and continues after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. There will be a Masonic Service on Tuesday. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
