Norma June Grant Gardner, 88, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Atria. She was a native of Chicago, IL and retired from First Citizens Bank. She was an active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and volunteered in the Hardin Memorial Hospital gift shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Gardner; her parents, Henry and Minnie Schuetz Grant and 4 sisters, Lorraine, Barbara, Joyce and Karen. She is survived by 2 sons, Kenneth A. (Lynn) Gardner of Chicago and David (Jeri) Gardner of Lexington; 2 daughters, Linda (Ed) Gardner-Heintz of Woodland, UT and Janice (Greg) Parcell of Geneva, IL; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who lovingly knew her as "Nana". A memorial service will be Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gloria Dei Lutheran School.
