Herbert Joshua Graham, Sr.

Herbert Joshua Graham, Sr., 94 of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Bardstown Health and Rehab. He was a native of Hardin County, served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Ft. Knox Civil Service as an equipment operator. He was a member of The Church of God where he was also a deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Newton and Nora E. Shipp Graham; daughter, Brenda Manley; siblings, Jack, Frank, Joe, Martha, and Pearl; and granddaughter, Monica Manley. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Protsman Graham; five children, Herbie (Gail) of Elizabethtown, Don (Judy) of Knoxville, TN, Barbara Hilton (Bob), Gary, and Billy (Vicky) all of Elizabethtown; brother, Homer Graham of Indiana; two sisters, Nancy Johnson of Elizabethtown and Mildred Peters of Howevalley; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at The Church of God on Bacon Creek Road with Rev. Donald Estep and Rev. Anthony Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home and continues after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
