Jack E. Killion, Jr.

Jack E. Killion Jr., 66, died Monday, June 19, 2017 at his residence in Rineyville. He retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service as a CW3. He also retired from civil services as GS-12. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. He was a 32nd degree Master Mason and member of Camp Knox Lodge. He was a member of American Legion Hardin Post 113. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack E. Killion, Sr. and Grace M. Olinger Killion. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda and their three children, Jason (Alicha) Killion of Rineyville, Michael (Jeni) Killion of Rineyville, and Angela (Trent) Killion of Brandenburg; two brothers, Alan Killion of Louisville and Rex Killion of Elizabethtown; six sisters, Debbie Watson of Knoxville, Kandy Meyer of Texas, Linda Greensburg of Las Vegas, Sherry Cook of Elizabethtown, Emma Rese of Radcliff, and Brenda Smith of Columbus, IN; and three grandchildren, Shannon, Jackson, and Mason Killion. The funeral will be Thursday, June 29th at 11:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin White officiating. Burial follows at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 28th and continues after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
