Jeanette Lewis Goodin, 93, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Helmwood Healthcare. She was native of Stephensburg, Kentucky, a member of White Mills Christian Church, and retired after 32 years from the Department of Agriculture ASCS as a contact clerk. She formerly attended Youngers Creek Baptist Church for 50 years where she was involved with senior citizens and the children's music program. Music was her passion and she sang 20+ years with the Spirit Singers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Stella Hart Lewis; one brother, Reginald Lewis; and two sisters, Evelyn Owsley and Idell Hart. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harry Lee Goodin; one son, Lewis C. (Pamela) Goodin of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Susan L. (Mark) Sullivan of Paducah; and five grandchildren, Evan Goodin, Claire Goodin, Mason Goodin, Patrick Carroll, and Lindsey Carroll. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold Moon officiating. Burial follows at Hardin Memorial Park.
