Gregory K. Williams, 59, Greenwood, passed away April 5, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born March 20, 1958 in Hardin County, KY, he was a 1976 North Hardin High School graduate, in Radcliff, KY. He held Bachelor degrees from the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville with a Masters Degree from Ball State University. He started as a federal employee in 1979, retiring from his full time career in 2013, which was a Program Manager at Defense Logistics Agency. He continued his federal career part-time until 2016. Greg enjoyed music, hunting, and was an avid UK fan. Survivors include his wife of 37+ years, Diana (McGuffin) Williams; daughter, Katie Williams; his parents, Jim & Shirley Williams; and sister, Monica Parris (Bill). He was a beloved nephew, cousin, in-law, uncle and friend. Visitation: Saturday, April 8 from 1- 4:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN. Additional visitation: Sunday, April 9 from 4-7:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 College St, Elizabethtown, KY 42701 with a Vigil Service there at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, April 10 at 11 AM at St. John Catholic Church, 657 St John Church Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. He will be laid to rest at the church cemetery.
