Imojean R. Looney, 84 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, September 12, 2016 in Elizabethtown. She was a native of Green County, a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class, the United Homemakers Club and Good Sams Club RV Group. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Michael Looney; her parents, Judge Garnett and Essie Shuffett Rodgers; two brothers, Randall Rodgers and Kenneth Rodgers and two sisters, Ortella Rodgers Pickett and Audrey Rodgers Masterson. She is survived by two sons, Barry M. Looney and Byron (Kim) Looney all of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Brenda Kay (Curtis) Simpson of Elizabethtown; one brother, Junior Rodgers of Campbellsville; one sister, Sara Rodgers Murray of Greensburg; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday at 12 noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Leon Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
